Emil Friðriksson

databases · software · electronics · hobby kernels

I spent a decade keeping EVE Online's economy alive as a senior database administrator at CCP, then a long stretch at Jivaro wearing far too many software hats — SQL and no-SQL, .NET, reverse engineering, CI/CD, and standing up cloud infrastructure. A later move into electronics saw me at Raförninn, splitting time between software and hands-on hardware like medical imaging repairs and custom sensor work. COVID sidelined me from work in 2021, so I pour that energy into hobby operating systems from my home in Denmark, where I've lived since 2024.
